Mimi Hails Joiner graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1981. Following a brief yet boring career in corporate America she began doing commercial illustration for companies such as Little Debbie and Miracle Grow. This led to graphite illustrations and oil portraiture. Now her work is lately devoted to oil and acrylic abstract as well as portraits in oil and pencil.
